The Curious Case of Edoardo Weber
Edoardo Weber is of course best known as the inventor and founder of Weber Carburettors.
However, what is less well documented is the fact that he was a member of the Italian Fascist party and was twice awarded by the Italian state for his service during 1943.
Further, within less than a month of the liberation of Bologna at the end of World War 2, Weber was taken from his factory office by a group of civilians. He was never seen again and it is assumed he was executed.
